It's for the stall, unless the layout has changed, doubt it has though cause based on the progress so far it looks the same.

@@1ronEntertainment It's going over the road, so it'll be tall, the layouts already leaked and that big support lines up with where the stall starts. They also made a model of the coaster for a press event and the stall looks like the tallest element.

For being in a bad state, Knott's is still doing pretty well. But they are most definitely, like other parks, hurting for money. Hopefully this merger gets them back on track.

Heard the old top thrill dragster trains were sent for refurbishment. Maybe they are coming to Knotts. They kept them this whole time at cedar point for one reason or another

Intamin is horrible with how long they take to get parts to Knott's!! Just like with the part needed for the launch.

Yeah, I'm not sure what happened because they used to be really good about finishing projects rather quickly.

Me too! That area was so serene. I loved going there to get away from the hustle and bustle of the park. Just sit there in the shade of all the trees and watch the train and boat go by.

No, but I was also there today and the purple train is on the brake run and there was an operator in the booth, so they are probably slowly working on it.

Thanks! Yeah, that's the same coaster. Also, the thought of Knott's buying that mall (or at least the Sears area and parking lot) has been going around for as long as I've been an enthusiast (1999). Using that as the parking lot and using the current parking lot for more rides. But that'll never happen aside from perhaps a hyper/giga using part of the parking lot. Nice pun btw! 😁

Oh yeah. But they should be playing elsewhere (one of the stages in Ghost Town). And in the middle of the week there should be shows. Also, the Walter Knott Theater isn't being used either. It would be great to have something out of the summer heat!

@@AmericasCoasterNetwork For several summers from the late 1970s to the mid-80s, the first Fab Four tribute band Beatlemania performed at what was then the Toyota Goodtime Theater. In 1973, when it was the John Wayne Theater, that is where the Everly Brothers broke up on stage. Except for their father's memorial service, Phil and Don wouldn't reunite personally and professionally for another ten years. Though concerts are now outdoors, it would be nice to have a summer ice skating show like they had in the past.

Yeah they should replace Coast Rider with a 121 foot tall water ride with a 115 foot 77.8 degree drop. I believe Intamin makes something like that. 😂
